There are a ton of pesto recipes out there, but I would like to share my personal combination of ingredients for a pesto. Pesto can be mixed into pasta or used as a dip for vegetables.
- Handful of Basil
- Handful of Italian flat leaf parsley
- Handful of good quality Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves of Garlic, grated
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Combine basil, parsley, cheese, garlic, salt and pepper in a food processor, turn it on and stream in olive oil until pesto comes together and has the consistency that can be poured. Store in the refrigerator in a air-tight container.
